Privacy policy
Cellular Solution respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Who we are
Cellular Solution is a Bell Mobility corporate dealer at 81 Zenway Blvd, Unit 6, Vaughan, Ontario L4H 0S5. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and in the course of serving you.
Person in charge of privacy
Don Nguyen, Director, is responsible for the protection of personal information at Cellular Solution. You can reach him at corpsales@cellularsolution.ca or (905) 264-2228.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and company name.
- Details about your request, such as the number of lines, the services you’re interested in and your message.
- Technical information sent with a quote request: the page address, the date and time, and your IP address.
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type and pages requested), kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote request or question.
- To prepare quotes and to set up and support the services you order.
- To help with returns, shipping and account questions.
- To protect this website from spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Consent
We collect personal information with your consent. When you send us a quote request, you agree that we may use your information to respond. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, and we’ll explain how that affects our ability to serve you.
When we share information
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only as needed:
- With Bell Canada and Bell Mobility, only to set up the services you request.
- With service providers that handle information for us: Microsoft 365 (our business email), Google Gmail (which currently relays messages sent through our quote form) and our web hosting provider. Our agreements require them to protect it and to use it only for the services they provide to us.
- When required by law.
Where your information is stored
We store personal information in Canada. Some service providers, such as Microsoft 365 for email and Google Gmail, which currently relays quote-form messages, may process information outside Canada where their services require it. In that case it may be subject to the laws of those places. Before information leaves Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected.
Employee Offers portal
The Employee Offers portal at portal.cellularsolution.ca is a separate system. Information you enter there is handled under the terms shown on the portal.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn’t use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Quote requests that do not lead to a customer relationship are deleted after 12 months. Customer records are kept as long as the law requires for business and tax records, generally 7 years.
If our website can’t deliver a quote request by email, it keeps a secure copy for up to 30 days so we can follow up, then deletes it. Spam-protection records store a one-way hash of your IP address rather than the address itself, and are deleted automatically.
If you use the automated assistant on our website, questions it can’t answer are saved without your IP address or other identifiers, with phone numbers, email addresses and account-like numbers removed, so we can improve its answers. They are deleted after 90 days.
Chat messages are processed by a third-party AI service provider, which may be located outside Quebec or Canada.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored information, and storage outside the public website.
Confidentiality incidents
If a confidentiality incident involving your personal information poses a risk of serious harm, we will promptly notify you and the authorities as required by law, including the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We also keep a record of incidents.
Your rights
Subject to the limits set by law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- have it deleted, or stop its use or disclosure, when we no longer need it or holding it is not lawful;
- withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits;
- receive information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format (data portability).
To exercise these rights, contact the person in charge of privacy (see below). We will respond within 30 days.
Contact us about privacy
For questions, requests or concerns about your privacy, contact Don Nguyen, Director, at corpsales@cellularsolution.ca or (905) 264-2228, or write to us at the address above.
If we can’t resolve your concern, you can file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, if you live in Quebec, with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).
